March is Endometriosis Awareness month and myself (Dawgelene “Dr Dawj” Sangster), along with Michelle N Johnson of Essential-e Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks planned free awareness events. Endometriosis is a disease that affects more than 176 million women worldwide, and there is currently no cure for it. Our first event was held on 3/26/2012 at Think Royally Studios in the BridgePort Art Center, and was a huge success. We had men and women show up to enjoy delicious treats, drinks and inspiring presentations by Nicoh David, Michelle N Johnson and Victoria Knox.
