I started my fitness journey just before my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer. I was confined at home happily taking care of him so my insanity DVD, the treadmill and resistance bands became my friends. He kept me inspired by his strength and kind words.

After his transition, I continued my fitness journey and haven't looked back. I'm 70lbs down and smaller than I was 20 years ago. I've set another goal to lose a few more and tone; oh and buy new undies!

It feels great to be on my path and my journey that is set for me. Had it not been for God on my side, in my life and in my heart, as well as my friends and my dogs keeping me busy, I would have given up long ago! #Determined #SuccessIsYours #ExpectAMiracle2016

I went from a size 4 to a size 24. I have now lost 70lbs and counting since I lost my husband to brain cancer in 2012. I am on health mission and I will not fail.
